Scientific Team Members Win FACSS Innovation Award

Two members of Applied Spectra's scientific team, Dr. Richard E. Russo and Dr. Alexander Bolshakov, along with several research colleagues, are proud to receive the innaugural FACSS Innovation Award for their paper, presented at the FACSS conference in October, 2011.

The award-winning paper was titled, "Laser Ablation Molecular Isotopic Spectrometry - New Dimension of LIBS"; Alexander Bol'shakov¹, Richard Russo¹ ², Xianglei Mao², Dale Perry², Osman Sorkhabi², Chris McKay³; ¹Applied Spectra, Inc., ²LBNL, ³NASA-Ames, Moffett Field.

About FACSS

FACSS is the Federation of Analytical Chemistry and Spectroscopy Societies. The Federation exists to combine many small meetings previously organized by the individual societies into one joint meeting that covers the whole field of Analytical Chemistry.
