The J100 Series Femto LA system's software, ∫ Integra, features a highly intuitive, user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) to navigate different sample areas and set up flexible laser sampling protocols. ∫ Integra offers an unprecedented level of integration with your ICP-MS instrument with bi-directional communication control. Our innovative software design allows analysts to create time-sequenced instructions for various hardware component operations, basically “a recipe.” By putting together multiple recipes, you can enjoy a completely automated measurement experience.

Easy Access to your Hardware Component Controls

Applied Spectra’s ∫ Integra software gives J100 users easy access to system hardware component controls. Simply click on Component tab and the analysts can track operational status of the femtosecond laser, gas flow system, lighting modules, 3-D stages, auto height adjustment sensor, sample chamber, and more. Custom user access levels can be assigned for different user groups.

Obtain Crisp Sample Images and Create Sophisticated Laser Sampling Patterns

∫ Integra features a large window with crisp, detailed images of your sample. Analysts can program
arbitrary laser sampling patterns on the sample image including rastered lines, curves, random points, a grid of arbitrary size and pre-programmed patterns. Even structures with challenging shapes on the sample can be highlighted with ∫ Integra’s pattern generation tool and precisely analyzed for elemental or isotopic content.

Navigate your Sample Effortlessly with
Dual Camera Sample Imaging System

The J100’s two off-axis imaging cameras provide analysts with both wide-field and zoomed-in views of the sample. ∫ Integra allows you to capture the wide-field view and subsequently use the saved image to
navigate different sample lochations and view the areas with high magnification.

Intelligent Gas Flow Control for Maximum ICP-MS Plasma Stability and Analytical Performance

∫ Integra features an intelligent transport and make-up gas control tool that allows programmed ramp-up of each gas towards a final set point, and synchronized valve switching to provide stable ICP-MS plasma conditions and to prevent its flame-out. The pre-set valve configurations allow a choice of Helium or Argon as either the transport or make-up gas.

Software Recipes Put You in Control of Automating Measurements

You can group together multiple hardware component instructions and sequence them in time to create an
∫ Integra recipe. Once recipes are created, they can be recalled at later times and grouped together to provide a highly automated measurement experience. Simply “recall” the entire recipe to repeat your experiment, or copy a part of the recipe and combine it with new instructions to address new sampling protocols.
