Applied Spectra was founded in 2004 by Dr. Richard E. Russo, following nearly three decades of pioneering laser ablation and LIBS research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory—on a simple idea: advanced science should make chemical analysis faster, cleaner, and more useful.
From our first commercial LIBS instrument and patented Tandem LA–LIBS technology to today's LuxION™ Chemical Intelligence Platform, we help researchers and manufacturers turn complex chemistry into actionable insight.
