Tandem Prism™ adds LIBS capability to RESOlution SE, transforming the platform into RESOlution Tandem. Applied Spectra’s patented Tandem technology combines complementary LIBS and ICP-MS measurements from the same laser sampling event, expanding elemental coverage and analytical range beyond conventional LA-ICP-MS alone.
LIBS provides access to major and light elements that complement the trace-element and isotopic capabilities of ICP-MS. Together, the two techniques provide richer chemical information for mineral characterization, screening, classification, and quantitative analysis across a broad concentration range.
